HAJ 2011 FROM SAUDI

Haj for this year is expected to fall from 6th to 9th Nov 2011 (10th to 13rd Zulhijjah 1432). Muslims from all around the world have even started their first flight right from end syawal, 28th Sept. Malaysian muslims are also in the path too, via Tabung Haji services as usual. This year Malaysian contributes 28,000 pilgrims about 0.1% from principle quota set by the Saudi govt. It is estimated that 1 million malaysian are queing up for Haj with Tabung Haji and need to wait for 40 years before reaching the front line!!! MasyaAllah.

Malaysian residence in Saudi are even or much much better. They can perform Haj if they want laa once in every 3 years with legal documents or each year with some risks!! They normally pay haj service provided by local muttawa ranging from 3,000 rials per head with valid Tasrih (haj permit) or just only spend between 200 to 500 rials for transportion cost without having valid tasrih. They might be stopped ahead from entering tanah haram at the check points if found without valid tasrih, but millions of crowds are dificult to carry thorough checks!!!!

The process for applying tasrih is just a simple things. Get endorsement from the sponsor and submit the paper with the copy of passport, residence permit (Iqama) and vaccination card. As long as you're still with valid Iqama, you can apply Tasrih anytime with your spouse and all family members before 15 Oct...... However, human is always human. Everyone likes to go for lowest or cheapest options regardless the risks they have to deal with....Bak kata orang lama, lagi susah lagi banyak dapat pahala.
